Product Registration

Product and warranty registration is automatic at time of purchase using the purchaser’s name and contact information, and is non-transferrable. Our warranties do not apply if you purchased an amp through private sale or from a non-authorized retailer of any kind.

5-Year Warranty on Amplifiers

90-Day Warranty on Tubes, Speakers, Reverb Tanks 

Amplifier Warranty: 5 year warranty against manufacture or material defect. This warranty does not cover the following:

  • Physical damage from impact, laceration, liquid, flame, chemicals, extreme or prolonged temperature or sun exposure
  • Electrical damage to internal circuitry from an improper mains fuse, applying mains voltage above 126VAC or below 110VAC, or damage resulting from applying power without a connected load (the speaker)

    Tubes, Speakers, Reverb Tanks Warranty:  90-day warranty against defect or failure.

    • This applies to tubes, speakers, and reverb tanks regardless of whether they are sold individually or inside an amplifier
    • Typically we will send you a replacement with prepaid return postage for the defective item

      Free Servicing during the warranty term: Your amplifier warranty includes free periodic servicing of your amp by DIXON during the 5-year warranty period in line with the recommended service intervals and not to exceed 3 services during the 5 year period.

      • We recommend a service check around 1 year and then as-appropriate given quality and frequency of use. Many customers find that one service is more than enough.
      • Free servicing is performed exclusively at DIXON located in California and must be approved and authorized via email in advance to shipping to DIXON. All servicing inquiries should be directed to bench@dixonamplifier.com
      • Service includes, but is not limited to, a general assessment of the physical and electrical condition, cost-free replacement or repair of items we might feel are beneficial to be determined, and performed, at our sole discretion. We want your amp to perform at its best and seeing how our products perform over time helps us make them better.
      • Shipping to and from DIXON for amp warranty free servicing is the responsibility of the registered owner. We are happy to arrange shipping for you at our rates and send you a link to pay online.
      • Any modification to the wiring, components or construction inside the amplifier chassis will void your warranty.

        Support and questions

        • If, for any reason, you suspect there might be a problem with the normal operation of your DIXON amplifier, please email us right away at bench@dixonamplifier.com and we'll set up a time to speak by phone. If we can’t diagnose and resolve the concern by phone, we’ll have you ship it to us for evaluation and repair. We strongly encourage you to keep your amplifier's original shipping box as it is designed for multiple shipping cycles and has superior impact protection.
        • For warranty repairs, the registered owner is responsible for shipping to DIXON in California. We can provide a shipping label and get you a good rate if you’d like.
        • Once your amp is in-house, we will assess what is needed. If the problem is a defect covered under warranty, we’ll repair it, give it a free servicing check and we’ll cover shipping back to you.
        • If your issue is not covered under warranty, we’ll discuss options and costs to repair and you will be responsible for return shipping.
        • DIXON currently does not authorize warranty work with any third party amp technicians and will not reimburse payments made for repairs done by a third party.
